I'm Sol Garcia Gimenez, a frontend engineer who also designs. For 4+ years I've shipped production web and mobile products end to end, from the interface and design system through to the serverless backend and deployment.
Where I learned the most was inside a product team: at Insectius I helped build Larvai, a B2B SaaS platform that turned a complex scientific domain into something non-expert operators use daily.
I care about performance and user experience, and I want to keep growing in frontend and product within a team.

Experience
I build web and mobile products, owning the full path from design to deployment, both frontend and backend. I have built installable mobile apps, full-stack e-commerce, a car rental platform and custom management apps, and I deliver self-service admin panels so non-technical owners manage their own content and operations with no developer after handover. I also replaced manual workflows with self-service tools, like instant quote calculators that removed a recurring back and forth.
At Insectius I worked on the frontend of Larvai, a B2B SaaS platform for insect producers, with features like batch tracking, AI-powered yield prediction, recipe management and reporting used by farm owners. Working with the team, I helped turn a complex scientific domain into interfaces for non-expert operators.
I built responsive, highly customized interfaces for clients across several sectors, with care for accessibility, SEO and performance. I ran multiple projects in parallel on real deadlines in a small team, and grew from designer into frontend developer.
